Cork is an outstanding ecological material, able to retain CO2 to a considerable level. The Portuguese Cork Oak Tree – QUERCUS SUBER L – forests retain approx. 14 million tons of CO₂ yearly. Not a single tree is cut or damaged during the harvesting of the cork.

The natural cork structure provides elasticity, and relief for your feet, joints and back from walking and especially standing. Cork’s natural thermal insulation properties make our floors pleasantly warm. They provide a warm and cozy floor temperature even for bare feet, as well as a high level of comfort all year round. The surface finish on our cork floors, prevents trapped dirt, dust, germs, and mold, actively contributing to a healthy and hygienic environment. The heavy density of this product eliminates ripples and waves caused by uneven subfloors. This flooring is ideal for large area commercial installations as well as residential, in-home, flooring.
Our cork flooring is made from 100% natural cork. The manufacturing of these cork cores, also use leftover material from cork stoppers used in wine bottles, that could otherwise go to waste.
The cork bark for the veneer is cut in different angles and directions. The material is then bonded together to form a block. As the veneer is cut from the block, different visuals are created which include a variety of surface textures similar to wood, giving the natural appearance of true cork bark.
